Meet the team who’ll be running the Badersfield Drama Club…
Benjamin Willmott
Ben recently moved to North Norfolk after living in Suffolk for several years. He loves being back in his home county after 17 years away!
In that time he’s worked with Theatre’s across the UK including Theatre Royal Bury St Edmunds, Paines Plough Theatre Company, The New Wolsey Theatre, Shakespeare North Playhouse, The Maddermarket Theatre and Eastern Angles. Ben combines his freelance marketing work with running local theatre groups.
Proudly holding a degree in drama, Ben is also an alumni of the Vault Theatre’s New Directors course, this culminated in directing a production at the Pleasance Theatre, London by writer Jasmine Naziha Jones. He complimented his training by working with ACTA in Bristol, being a member of the Cohort for Elevate, their community theatre development course.
Ben is First Aid Trained and fully DBS checked.
Joanne Willmott
Jo’s love of theatre came at a young age where she would get involved in her school productions and local drama groups in Suffolk. This love of theatre continues to this day and she can often be found enjoying the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in August and when she’s not in Edinburgh she’s often enjoying live theatre in her local area!
Jo holds a degree in Drama & Writing and has found a renewed passion for teaching drama since beginning the drama clubs.
Jo is fully DBS checked.
